HOW TO SEND AN EMAIL


  1. Access the email-sending screen one of two ways:
  1. Click the Actions drop-down on the main Emails Screen and select Send Email.
  2. Click the email name and click Continue to step through the email until you reach the last screen then click the green Schedule & Send button. 
  1. Complete the Email Send Configuration form.
  2. Click Next.
    The Email Send Configuration Overview will appear.  
  3. Click Run Immediately or Schedule.
    If Schedule is selected, the Schedule Editor will appear.


Note:
Your email must be "Approved" or "Ready" status to send. If it is not in a sendable status, select Preview or Request Approval to begin the review and approval process. Once the email has moved through the preview/approval phase, you will be able to send it.



Email Send Configuration

Complete the Email Send Configuration form. You will only need to edit this portion if you have a different sending domain or subject line you'd like to use otherwise move to the Audience Selection.

Note:  Email Send Configuration properties with their descriptions.



Audience Selection

  1. Select your Sendable Data Table(s).
  2. Suppression Sendable Data Table(s) are pre-populated with your suppression list(s).







Advanced Options

  1. If your total records are greater than 25,000, Select option 2 and limit your throttle Send no more than 25,000 every 1 hour.
  2. Uncheck Deduplicate Audience by Email Address, to ensure individuals with shared addresses receive their email.
  3. Click Next.






Configure Schedule

  1. Schedule should be checked.
  2. Schedule Date – Click in the Select Date field and select the date on the calendar you want your email to send.
  3. Schedule Time – Enter the time, AM or PM, and time zone you would like the email to send.
  4. Recurrence – Select the cadence in which you would like this email to be sent.
  5. Scheduled – Update this field to Active.
  6. Click Save.

    NOTE:
    You must set the scheduled status to "Active" for the email to send.
